Business Process Analyst (Relocate to Virginia Beach)

We are seeking a highly skilled individual preferably with SAP S4 Hana manufacturing experience to join our Business Excellence team to partner with all facets of STIHL Inc. and provide subject matter expertise in our continuous improvement, lean / waste reduction initiatives!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains positive relationships within cross-functional teams in multiple departments.
  • Co-creates and initiates clear problem statements, methods & standards with clear timelines for testing and evaluation (e.g. base-line data) to support data based decision making and development solutions.
  • Builds and maintains current state and future state detailed process flow diagrams to show visual representation of process activities, resources, and systems.
  • Supports training and leadership development towards an accountable mindset of continuous improvement aligned with Global STIHL.
  • Works with all department team members to include but not limited to Finance, Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, Engineering, Production, Production Scheduling, Maintenance, Warehousing, Materials and Purchasing.
  • Develops and implements solutions for departmental problems using problem solving techniques like DMAIC, 5-Why, Ishikawa Diagrams, and many others.
  • Compiles, drafts and presents clear synthesized findings as well as periodic project work updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Participates in the development, deployment, engagement, and optimization of the leadership development program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience preferred.
  • SAP S4 Hana Manufacturing ERP experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in close team environment preferred.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Basic SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to encourage, guide, and direct others to improve performance.

Desired:

  • Standard Operating Procedures creation experience.
  • German language skills are a nice to have.
